Year 5 Science

The LEARN ABOUT WOOL resources provide an ideal opportunity for Year 5 students to investigate a range of structural features that allow sheep to adapt to their environment. Students will discover how humans harvest the wool from sheep and develop a wide range of products that also can protect us against the environment.

The following curriculum-based resource packages include a variety of interactive resources, including downloadable PDF factsheets and publications.

These resources have been compiled to help teachers use the Australian wool industry to teach Year 5 Science in an engaging and educational way that meets the requirements of the Australian Curriculum.
