Overview

The following package of resources uses the Australian wool industry to help you meet the requirements of the Year 2 Science curriculum.

Students can investigate the following resources to help them represent personal growth and changes from birth (ACSSU030), recognise that living things, such as sheep, have predictable characteristics at different stages of development (ACSSU030), explore different characteristics of life stages of sheep (ACSSU030), observe that sheep have offspring, with two parents (ACSSU030), identify the ways humans manage and protect resources, such as farmland water supplies (ACSHE022), recognise that many living things, such as sheep, rely on resources that may be threatened, such as water and land, and that science understanding can contribute to the preservation of such resources (ACSHE022).
