Students can sort and group materials on the basis of observable properties such as colour and texture (ACSSU003), investigate different forms of clothing used for different activities (ACSSU003), compare the traditional materials used for clothing from around the world (ACSSU003), recognise that observation is an important part of exploring and investigating the things and places around us (ACSHE013), share observations with others and communicate their experiences (ACSHE013) and explore and observe using smell, touch and seeing (ACSHE013).
